Mustapha Omar, Founder and CEO: is a director of Roto VR, which has developed the world’s first immersive and interactive virtual reality chair with first deliveries commencing in Q4 2019. He was the Commercial director & Head of VR for Escape Hunt plc, one of the world’s largest escape room companies, where he devised and implemented its virtual reality strategy and was responsible for the 42 strong franchise network that spanned 27 countries and 6 continents. He has extensive experience in investment banking, initially as a technology analyst and latterly in corporate finance where he has a successful track record of raising funds for numerous companies at IPO and in private placements. He led the team that floated Escape Hunt on the London stock market. Mustapha co-founded Chrystal Capital, a Mayfair-based corporate finance company. He served as an executive director on the main board of London listed Nviro Cleantech plc . He has a PhD in Materials Science and five scientific publications in international journals. Mustapha was born and raised in London.
Sarah Dodd, Sales & Marketing Advisor: is a leading figure within the Escape Room Industry. A medical Doctor with a fascination for the neuroscience and psychology that motivates play, she started her working life in the computer games industry, involved in testing, design and production. After discovering escape rooms as a player just a few years ago she immediately began to use her game design expertise to dissect the games and suggest improvements. She has been working as a Design and UX Consultant in the industry for the past couple of years.Sarah also runs the Escape Room Industry Conference, held annually in the UK, is on the ‘Top Escape Rooms Project’ advisory board, is a co-host on a new UK-based Escape Room podcast, has been a speaker and panellist at the last three Up The Game conferences in the Netherlands and has been featured numerous times as an escape room expert or record-breaking escape room player in the media. She has been a member of the UK national Red Bull Mindgamers team in the Escape Room World Championships on both occasions, and has played the most escape rooms in the world.
Kevin Williams, Strategy Advisor: has an extensive background in the development and sales of the latest amusement and attraction applications and VR immersive technologies. Kevin is a specialist in the pay-to-play scene. He was an executive at Walt Disney; is well-known through his consultancy KWP; and as a prolific writer and presenter (along with his own news service The Stinger Report), covering the emergence of the new entertainment market. Kevin has co-authored a book covering the sector called ‘The Out-of-Home Interactive Entertainment Frontier’, feverishly working on the sequel coming out later this year. And is the founding chairman of DNA Association & Conference, which focuses on the digital Out-of Home interactive entertainment sector.
